My daddy's pride and joy

I don't know much about hunting....or elk....or guns.....you get the idea, BUT I do know that this was a HUGE deal for my Dad (or Daddy as I like to call him!) He got this 6 pt Elk last week and was very excited. We went over to check it out when he got home. There it was - road kill - displayed all over the front yard, my step-mom was loving it! (NOT!) It took me back to those real early days when he would go on a deer hunt, bring back his kill and then HANG IT FROM OUR SWINGSET to cut it up!!!! YUM

Park City Weekend

While we were in Park City we went to the Family History center, played in the condo pool, did a little Outlet shopping, ate some ice cream, went to a movie (Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs) went to the Utah Olympic Park and enjoyed the beginnings of Autumn.

Meanwhile......Ron was doing this

The Art of the Brick

Here are the pictures of us at the Lego Art exhibit. It was pretty cool! There were some amazing and some STRANGE works. The kids got the artists autograph and got to ask him some questions. We wanted to know if LEGO donated any of the pieces for him to work with and the answer was.......NO! He has to buy them all himself! I thought that was crazy since LEGO is getting free advertising! Oh well. They boys were very inspired to come home and build some great creations with the BILLIONS of LEGO's we have here.
PS. The chick in the green shirt with the camera behind Cody is the one that took Hannah's picture for the magazine. Just a bit of useless information.....

My baby in a magazine

Last weekend me and Jen took the boys to a Lego Art exhibit in Park City. Hannah had to come with us because Ron was out of town and there was no one for her to stay with. We got to meet the artist and play with Lego's and there were lots of news channels and photographers snapping pictures. A lady from Salt Lake Magazine took a picture of Hannah and asked if it was okay if she was in the magazine. I was like Heck Ya! So they took her name and age and told us we could find the pic online. Here is the link:

Hopefully that works. I have more pictures of the boys I will post later. (Since I am doing this at work!!!)

You've Got Mail

I saw this on Nie Nie's blog and had to have one for myself! It just came in the mail the other day and I was so happy!

Back to School

The kids are back to "traditional" school. They have been on a track schedule since we moved to Clinton. I actually liked the tracks since it would give me a break from homework!!! Noah is in 6th grade, Jonah is in 4th grade and Hannah just started Kindergarten. This is the only time they will all be in the same school at the same time. I can't believe how big they are!

New Shoes!!!
