I bought Hannah a Monsters vs. Aliens coloring book the other day. She colored this picture of Susan and Derek before Susan turns into a giant and gave it to me. She said "Mom here is a picture of Edward and Bella at the dance"!! How funny is that? Do you think she has watched Twilight too many times with me?

1. I can't drive a stick shift car.
2. I prefer Puffs over Kleenex.
3. I love to explore old graveyards.
4. I have a red heart shaped filling on my tooth. I had a creative Dentist when I was about 8.

6. I miss Brandi very much. So does Angel, Brittany, Dave, Alan, Daren, Bret, Kory, Kellie and all the Spanish speaking boys in the warehouse!!!
7. I don't have any pets. 3 kids and a husband are enough to clean up after and they don't stink when they get wet.
8. I love to travel.
9. I hate to pluck my eyebrows (right Angel?) so I just wait until I am a unibrow and then I get them all waxed off. (is this like TMI?)
10. I am NOT good at returning phone calls.
11. I DON"T watch American Idol or Survivor or The Amazing Race or The Biggest Loser.....I can't stand to watch people make idiots of themselves.

18. I love the Dew, but have recently kind-of given it up. Now I drink caffeine free Dew ( that doesn't count, right?)
19. I love Twilight (the books mostly), sorry, but I do.
20. I spend hundreds of dollars on scrapbook supplies, then never have the time to actually scrapbook. (Tiff, Holly, Noreen and Shauna when are we going scrapbooking ???)

Jonah's 9th Birthday
Jonah turned 9 this year and we had a party at Arctic Circle. I ordered the cake from Walmart and when I picked it up it said "Happy Birthday Jonaha". Hello!!!! Jonaha????? I thought it was funny and didn't have time to make them fix it so I just took it and left. Jonah invited 9 boys and 1 girl to his party. Brenna is just his "friend" that happens to be a "girl" but she is NOT his "girlfriend". Um....ya whatever. They did this pose on their own. Jonah told everyone that he wanted Webkins. He got 7!! Luckily they were all different. He had a great time with his friends and I was SOOOO done by the time it was over - 11 screaming kids will do that to you!

Ouch!
Jonah fell into our window well last Wednesday. He was leaning on a portable water hose holder and it gave way sending him head first into the window well. I was on my way home from picking up Hannah at dance and Ron was in the house. I am not sure (and neither is he) if he hit the actual metal well or if it was the rocks at the bottom, but either way he ended up with a rather LARGE bump on his head and a bloody nose. The swelling went down slowly, but he seemed to be okay so we didn't take him to the doctor. He started saying (with help from his big brother)that it would make him feel better if I were to give him a new Lego set so I was pretty sure he was really okay! By day two it looked like his nose was broke because he was swollen between and above his left eye. It has been 6 days now and the bump is gone, but the blood is making its way through his face. The pictures aren't that great, but he is purple around his eyes. Unfortunately, the fall didn't knock out his jacked up front tooth that really needs to come out!

Staycation
The boys have been off track for about 3 weeks and have been bored so Ron and I took a day off from work and we took a little family day. We had fun, but it cost more then we expected. We took the Front Runner from Clearfield to Salt Lake since we hadn't been on it yet. That was $36. Then we went to the Clark Plantarium to see an IMAX movie, $30. Jonah loves space, the moon and planets so we watched a 3D space station show. It was cool. Then we went to a hamburger place at the Gateway that Ron wanted to try called The Counter. It was pretty cool, you get to build your burger the way you want, but it's also expensive!!! We spent $60 there!!!! Ugh! After all that we went to Temple Square and walked around a little. We meet MANY Sister Missionaries. If you have ever walked around Temple Square you would know that there are MANY Sister Missionaries there!!! One Sister was from Pakistan and I thought that was pretty cool. I don't know how many members are in Pakistan but I am guessing not many. So we had a fun day, we like to do fun things with the kids since we have such messed up schedules and are hardly ever together at the same time, but hopefully next time we will pick something a little less expensive!!!

Tea anyone?
On this Tax day with all the "tea parties" going on, it made me recall this:
Okay so its not a grand political statement on the tax laws in our country, but just a great memory of a road trip to Boston with my friend Toni and seeing the Tea Party ship. Ahh...good times!
