TWILIGHT PARTY!!!!!!!!!!
Tara!!! This is for you!!! :)
So....I had a Twilight Party. Yes...I did... Anyway, a week before New Moon came out, I had a party and invited all my "just as overly obsessed" Twilight BFF's. Although I don't know how obsessed some of them are when they don't even own a copy of THE MOVIE!! (Brandi and Noreen you know who you are!). I kicked out Ron and the boys but let Hannah stay since she loves it too. We watched Twilight, ate yummy foods, had some yummy Twilight-ish desserts and (bloody-ish looking) drinks. I decorated my house in all things Twilight. It looked cool and was so fun to do from the "Welcome to Forks, Washington" front Door to the Team Edward and Team Jacob photo ops to the plates that looked like blood to the apples, candles, framed movie scenes and quotes, it was all kinds of decked out. After the movie we played some Twilight and New Moon trivia games. Thanks to the girls for buying those for me!!! I had prizes for everyone like Twilight jewelry, candy, collector cups, journals, trading cards, candles and lotion. Everyone also got a "blood bag" (red licorice) and a treat bag of course! What is a party without a treat bag?? Each treat bag had a "Twilight" (book#1) candy bar that said "Thanks for coming to Michele's Party", a New Moon (book#2) candy bar, "Eclipse" (book#3) gum, a chess piece (book#4 Breaking Dawn has a chess piece on the cover) plus a mini Bath and Body Works "Twilight Woods" lotion and some vampire teeth. I know, I know Twilight vampires don't have fangs, but I put them in the bags anyway! We had a great time and I am now planning a New Moon party for when it comes out on DVD. I can't wait! Thanks to all my BFF's, Mom and Jen for coming and bringing food. I had a lot of fun and I hope you all did too! Hopefully those true Team Edward fans don't change sides just because Jacob looks good with his shirt off! I am still a Team Edward!
PS. Tara, sorry you had to watch it for the first time with a bunch of us chatty girls who have seen it a hundred times. You can come over anytime and watch it again!!!
Edward welcomes you. What a way to start a party!

HALLOWEEN
Man I am behind on Blogging! Here are some Halloween pics. The boys were each Link from the Zelda video games. My mom made their costumes. Noah was very specific in what he wanted and probably drove my mom crazy!!! They looked great though. Hannah was Hannah Montana. Not too far of a stretch for her, all she does is sing and dance around here! We went to a party at my dads and did some trick or treating. It seems like Halloween came and went way too fast this year!

Star Wars LIVE in Concert
I took my 3 boys (Noah, Jonah and.........RON) to see Star Wars in concert when we got home from DC. It was actually quite cool! We are a home of Star Wars nerds so it was the perfect show for us. Actually I emailed Ron the concert info ( that is how we communicate, since we never see each other) and he bought the tickets. I was kind of surprised cuz they were expensive, but really, how could we resist? They had this huge screen showing movie clips and an orchestra playing the theme songs. Anthony Daniels - AKA C3P0 (in all 6 movies)- was the host. That was pretty cool. There were lasers and characters and costumes and props and all kinds of weirdies (not us, of course!) there. We bought the boys each a little light saber key chain. In true Jonah fashion, he broke his right after the show before we even made it to the car. UGH.

DC/PA Trip
Ron's mom works for IRS. For the last 11 or so years she has been sent out to different IRS locations to work for a couple of months at a time. We have visited her in the past in places like Atlanta, Boston, Cincinnati and DC. This is her last year since she is retiring so we decided to take the kids out and visit her. Noah and Jonah have each been a couple of times, but this was Hannah's first time in DC and first time on a plane. So here is our 10 day vacation. I took like 700 pictures but tried to pick out the best ones to blog.
Iwo Jima Memorial
On the steps of the Jefferson Memorial looking at the Washington Monument. I love this picture!!!
Hannah with the White House in her hand.
Vietnam Memorial
Lincoln Memorial
Korean War Memorial
National Zoo. Its free!!!
Panda Bears! The kids love Pandas
Playing in the Metro Station
Forever long Escalator!
Independence Hall where the Declaration was signed. So Hannah got car sick on the drive up to Philadelphia and threw up in the car. We found a 7-11 and Ron bought her a shirt to wear. It says something about opening a can of Whoop A** on the front so all the pictures from this day have her lovely message there for all to see. Nice. You will notice after a while she started hiding behind her brothers cuz she was embarrassed! So was I!
Hannah hiding behind Jonah
Ron and Troy got Philly Cheese steak sandwich's in Philly!
Ford's Theater where Lincoln was shot.
Fords Theater
After Lincoln was shot he was taken across the street to this house where he died.
Back to the Natural History Museum. We went twice.
They had every kind of animal. It was pretty cool!
American History Museum
C3PO
Dorothy's Ruby Red Slippers from the Wizard of Oz
White House
Hard Rock Cafe DC
Welcome to Intercourse, PA!
Amish at the Bank! Weird!
Kennedy Graves. After explaing to Hannah that Pres. Lincoln was shot and killed and Pres. Kennedy was shot and killed she asked me why everyone wants to kill the President. She was very concerned. I was trying to teach her the history, but for her it was a little disturbing.
