My Scrapbook Room....Finally!

I Finally have my scrapbook room done just how I want it!!!! Actually, that is not totally true. I would want it 3 times the size, but that isn't going to happen. It would also be nice if Hannah kept her table clean, but she is 5 so... ya know. We kicked the boys out of their room last December then painted and moved all my CRAP in. I am using our old dinning room table for my desk, I have lots of storage containers for all my embellishments and ribbon. I even have a TV/VCR and DVD player to watch my chick flicks. I saw this rub-on on another scrapbookers blog and had to have it. The last things to go up were the 12x12 framed scrapbook pages. Not magazine worthy layouts, but they are my style. I love my Room!!! I love the blue walls and white storage shelfs. I love that I can watch a movie while I scrapbook. I love that this room is everything about me.

Hannah Montana

Me and my sister Jen took Hannah and my niece Maile (pronounced Miley) to see Hannah and Miley in the Hannah Montana movie the other night. My friends Tiffany and Noreen and their girls were there also. We had a good time. The movie actually had some funny parts and Hannah was singing along the whole time. I had to tell her to shush a couple of times. Although her singing was not as loud as the laughter coming from the lady in front of me. This must have been the funniest movie she had ever seen!!!! I tried to convince Hannah that the 16 year old cowboy was cute, but no one can compete with Troy (Zac Efron) in her eyes. Although Edward Cullen is a close second!

Last Day of School Talent Show

Jonah had a talent show on the last day of school. He did 2 things. First he did a sumersault then he played the Ocarina. What is that you say? It's some kind of flute thing. The boys got it from a video game - "Zelda and the Ocarina of Time". Noah decided one day that he wanted to learn the Ocarina and I was like "it's not even real! Its just on the video game!!!" But leave it up to Noah to investigate. He found them on the interent and begged us for like 6 months to buy one. Ron finally caved a couple of weeks ago and bought them each one. It's really kindof annoying when they play it without really playing a tune - kind of like when my sister would practice the violin in Jr. High. JK Jenny!!! So Jonah stood up there and played a little tune and everyone loved it.

Jonah and Brenna - his "friend" that is a girl.

Camping

We went camping with my family the last weekend in June. I love camping, but it was so much more fun when I was little and didn't have to do all the packing!!! We took a 2 hour hike, played in the river, celebrated 3 birthdays and made smores. Ron's family came up for dinner and my Grandma and Aunt made an apperance. Ron and I have his grandpa's old trailer so that made it nice.

Knowing - 4 THUMBS DOWN!

My friends and I had this plan to go see a movie at least once a month at the Kaysville Theater. It's only $2, the snacks are cheap, especially with our refillable mugs. That lasted for about 2 months until everyone got too busy, but we still try to sneak one in every once in a while. We went to see "Knowing" the other day. There were about 15 of us, which made it real fun for the rest of the people in the theater. None of us liked it all the much as you can see from this first picture. Next on the list: Ghosts from Girlfriends Past starring Noreen's favorite Man (well other then her husband!!!) Matthew!!!

Spring Dance Recital

I am so behind on my blogging, so I am trying to catch up. It seems like the days are getting shorter and shorter and I am getting less and less done!

Hannah had a dance recital the day after we went to Wendover. We had to be up early for a rehearsal. That was fun after getting only a couple of hours of sleep! Hannah has been going to Shaw Dance for the last 2 years. She LOVES it! Her teacher for the last 2 years has been Miss Jolynn. She will be moving on to a new class in the fall and will miss her. She has learned a lot these last 2 years.
