Interesting Things I Found in Sunday's Paper

Sad, they must go though tons of these kits on the Maury Polvich (sp?) show. I know another way you can find out who your baby daddy is........um how about you don't mess around, especially with more then 1 person which make this kind of thing necessary!

Perfect white elephant gift for your upcoming Holiday parties!!!!!!! I have a couple of uncles that would LOVE this!!!

Fall

I love our tree. It's about the only thing in the yard that Ron and I haven't killed yet. We are not green thumbs at all and I feel sorry for both of our neighbors that they have to live next to us and our crappy yard. But this tree is so pretty and ALIVE still! I used to be just a Spring lover, but lately I am appreciating the colors of fall.

Hannah had pictures at preschool the other day so I had to take some time off work in the morning so I could do her hair.

The Poor girl usually looks like this during the day. Orphan Child.

If I was home with her eveyday she would look more like this.

Les Miserables

Last weekend my mom took us on a girls getaway. We went to St George to see Les Miserables at Tuacahn. It was soooo awesome. The theater was huge and it was so cool to have it outside. It was really windy at first and we were worried they would cancel the show but it died down after a while. Mom paid for the tickets, the hotel, the gas for the car and for the preshow dinner. Yummy! Thanks Mom!!!! We had fun!

While we were waiting to go in I looked over the crowd and saw some people I knew! Ken and Becca both used to work with me and now they are married. Not only were we there on the same night but they had tickets on the row right behind us! Crazy! After the show we got to meet some of the performers. Valjean, Marius, Eponine, Thenardier and Madame Thenardier. The show was great and very worth the drive!

I'm a Bella!

You are observant, diplomatic and often aim to please. You are unaware of your
attractiveness and despite being uncomfortable with any form of attention, people enjoy your company. You can be impatient, stubborn and headstrong, but you are true to your word and mature for your age, often taking care of your family and enjoying a good book over chatting with girlfriends on the phone.
Okay I think some parts of this are me and some are not!!!!!

Scrapbooking, Les Mis and Conference

This is for Holly. Only 29 days until our Scrapbook Getaway! I am excited!!! I have lots to do and its so nice to get away to do it! No kids, No Work, No husbands, Fun Friends, Food, Possible Shopping and scrapping! This will be us again, but actually getting something done and sadly without Lisa Bearnson. :(

This weekend I going to St George to see Les Miserables at Tuacahn with my mom, sister and sister in law. I am so excited! This will be my fourth time seeing Les Mis. I saw it twice in New York when I was a nanny and then took my mom a couple of years ago to see it in Salt Lake. I love it! Jen and Stef have not seen it so I am glad we get to share it with them. I am sure I will take lots of pictures and post about it next week. I have to do these kinds of "cultural" things with the girls since Ron could care less. I took him to Phantom of the Opera a couple years ago and I think he was bored to death. When I told him about this he said he would be "Less Miserable" if he didn't have to go. Smart A! Honey, I still love you even though you would much rather be somewhere else then with me at a musical!

I really enjoyed General Conference this past weekend (and a day off from church! - I know you are all thinking the same thing!!!) I missed the first sessions both Saturday and Sunday ( I'm not gonna lie - I slept in!!) but watched the second sessions on each day. I really listened and enjoyed the talks and cried at the stories that were told. I tried to look for my friends daughter in the crowd when the primary choir sang, but I never saw her. Sorry Kalee, did you see her? Anyway it was nice to feel spiritual again since I have been feeling so negative lately. I watched the programs after also until the news came on and then the great feelings pretty much left while I was listening to the horrible news of the day and of the crappy world we live in. I am scared for my kids growing up in all this. We thought it was a bad world when we were little and it just gets worse and worse. I need to be a better mom and encourage my kids to do more prayers and scripture reading, etc. I need to work on that. I love to hear Hannah sing the primary songs. It makes me happy.
One more thing. Noah is in 5th grade and had "Maturation" yesterday. Ugh, if that doesn't make you feel old as a mother, I don't know what does. Ron went with him and I guess it went over well. Noah is all about getting some deodorant now. They also said something about soon they will start growing hair and look like Chewbaca. Nice!!! I don't think Noah will have that problem for a long time.

Bunko

I played Bunko for the very first time last week. My friends have been trying to get me to play or at least be a sub in their group for a long time, but I have refused because I am not a "game" person. Tiffany finally convinced me to come sub and have a much needed girls night out so I gave in and went. I actually had FUN!!! It was at my old next door neighbors house in Roy. I parked right in front of my old house (which by the way is for sale again for $40,000 more then what we sold it for 3 years ago). It's weird to go back like that, but I can finally do it without crying. I still miss my friends a lot, but I finally feel like that is no longer my house. We have made new memories in Clinton. ANYWAY, bunko is fun and crazy and I had a good time and I WON A PRIZE! Not bad for a first timer!!!

What is wrong with this picture?
