We had a family camp-out in our backyard last weekend. There was a father and son's camp-out for our ward that night, but Ron had to haul hay for his dad the next morning so he couldn't take the boys. So we had our own. We were going to sleep on the trampoline but there were too many mosquito's so Ron put up the tent. The kids went to sleep pretty quick which was very unusual for them - especially Hannah. Ron and I both woke up around 3am freezing, but as soon as the sun came up the next morning it was HOT again. The kids had fun.

Ron

I lied! One more! Ron went to Jericho with some friends and his new 4 wheeler last week. I am sure he would want me to share the awesome pictures of him "catching some air". He usually does the "ride for life" in August but he is not doing it this year. Its a charity thing where they ride 4 wheelers from Tooele to Wendover. Yes that is a long way and Yes he is stinky, Dirty and tired when he is done! Ron only has 2 major hobbies, 4 wheelin and paintball. He tries to get me involved in them, but I let him go with his friends and do his thing. I dont think he wants me to reverse the rolls and make him spend a weekend with me, Holly, Tiffany, Shauna and Noreen scrapbooking at Wolf Creek!

Okay this is my last blog for today, I swear! I promised my nieces I would put their pictures on so here are some more of the events from the last couple of weeks. We had a Fathers Day Bar B Q last Saturday with my dad. Here are my beautiful nieces Carly, Haley and Selena. My nephew Cody can bend his arm in some pretty disgusting ways, that boy is flexible! This picture shows his older brother Richie looking like he is breaking his arm! I was laughing so hard I couldn't keep the camera still. Hannah and Maile (pronounced Miley - yes a Hannah and a Maile - good thing we love Hannah Montata!) played horseshoes. Then there is Jonah and my daddy. Ron had to go to work and I didn't get any pictures of him with the kids. We bought him a scrub brush for the grill for Fathers day. Its what he wanted!!!! Plus a couple days before that he bought a new 4 wheeler so that was his Fathers Day and Birthday Present.

This Blogging Thing

I don't think I have this blogging thing down right. I am sure I am supposed to write when the event happens, not 20 blogs in one day, but its hard when I work everyday and don't get home until 6ish everynight. Working sucks! I would love to be able to quit, spend more time with my kids, volunteer at their school, go on fieldtrips, take them to the park in the middle of the day, finish projects at home, Have a clean house, catch up on my scrapbooking, spend more time in the yard, actually make a real dinner for my family, Spend time doing girl stuff with Hannah. She usually looks like an orphan during the day because Daddy doesn't do hair...or care if the clothes match.....or if the face is dirty or clean. I feel like I am missing out on her childhood. Have another baby!, hang out with my stay at home mom friends from my old ward, get to go to more activities with people from my new ward so I can get to know them. We have been here 2 years and I still don't feel like I belong. But just today I noticed that Nikki Weeks added me to her "friend" blog list. Thanks Nikki!!! You don't know how much that actually means to me! So anyway I guess you have to do what you have to do...I guess I have to work so I can afford to buy unnecessary things like Princess TVs!!!!!!!!!!! (I know what you are thinking...what...no pictures? Nope not this time!)

Dinosaur Park

Ron went on a field trip with Jonah to the dinosaur park on June 12th. It was also Ron's 35th Birthday. He took the camera like a good boy but only took pictures of Jonah........ Oh well at least he did that right? The kids have year round school so they are still going for the rest of this month. It was nice for them to be off in Feb when we went to Disneyland, but its hard for them to have such a short summer while all their cousins are already out.

Say Cheese

I am going through my recent pictures trying to decide what to blog about and I came across these ones of Hannah. It was a nice spring Sunday, we just got home from church. I loved the blue shirt and the cute pink flowers in her hair so what a great photo op, right? I love my baby girl and you all might think I am sooo mean, but sometimes the pictures I take of her when I make her pose are just funny. Check these out. Am I the meanest mom ever? The close up one is what I look like when I have an allergic reaction to something and my eyes swell up. SO I guess she got the squinty eye thing from me. Poor girl. But I love her and I hope she doesn't hate me later for this! :)

Sucker

I am such a sucker when it comes to Disney Princess stuff. I have Princess radar and can spot any related items for miles. Its good I have Hannah to buy the stuff for or else Ron and I might have a Princess bedroom. Okay I am just kidding, I am not that bad. But while wandering around the Syracuse Wal*Mart the other night I found a killer deal on a Disney Princess TV. Did I need it? NO. Do I have the money to buy it really? NO. Did I do it anyway? OF COURSE! It was on SALE! How could I pass it up? Hannah has a TV in her room already, but its just a plain black TV. Boring. So here is a picture of Hannah and her new TV. And just so you understand why a Princess TV looks so much better in her room then a plain TV, I took more pictures of her room. And Yes I did clean the room first.

California

We were finally able to take the kids to Disneyland this year. Well really if you ask Ron it was more like I finally got to go to Disneyland and everyone else got to come with me. I love all things Disney. Ron and I went on our honeymoon 13 years ago and hadn't been back until now. I have trained Hannah well in all things "PRINCESS" so she was just as excited as I was to meet some real live Princesses. Okay well I think she was more excited then me about that. Here are some pictures of our trip. Are there enough??? We did it all. First we stopped in Vegas and took the kids to the M&M store then 3 days in Disneyland with a character dinner ( where Hannah did the Macarena (SP?) with Goofy) Princess Fair and Noah got to fight with Darth Maul - how cool is that????!!!!!!!!!!!!, 1 day at Universal Studios , 1 day at Sea World where it poured rain (and Ron got sick. He never gets sick yet of course on vacation he was miserably sick!) 1 day at the San Diego Zoo, 1 day at Legoland (the boys loved this!) and 1 day at the beach. We spent some time with our friends Brett, Holly, Payton, Brewer, Evrett and Birkley Thompson. The kids loved it. What is cooler then hanging out in Disneyland with your best friends? I am planning a return trip in 2010. I just have to convince Ron now!

Ballerina Girl

Hannah LOVES taking dance, I am sooo glad! I loved dancing when I was younger and I am glad I passed that on to her. She didn't have much rhythm in the beginning but now she dances everywhere: on the way to the potty, in the grocery store, at church....anywhere. She goes to Shaw Dance in Sunset with my friend Tiffany's daughter Mckenna and her cousin Lindsey. The classes started last fall and just ended a few weeks ago. These pictures were taken at their Spring "concert". We weren't allowed to take pictures during the performance which was just he** for this scrapbooking mom! I still took some when they came out to take a final bow. I am such a rebel. I get teary when she is up there on the stage. She is usually a step or 2 behind everyone else but its so fun to watch. She got a trophy that night and some flowers from Ron and the boys. She was so excited for those as you can see in the pictures. She can't wait to go back in the fall!
